Every four to five years, all programs will be cycled into a comprehensive “Level 2” program review to examine the program more deeply and consider possibilities for reinvigoration, reinvention and evolution.

Teams will begin by considering Level 1 longitudinal data as provided by Institutional Research (which will also serve as a resource for interpretation and understanding). In addition, additional information about prospective student market, labor market, advances in the field, and competition analysis to take into account industry, technology, and pedagogical changes. Some of this information will be gathered through external sources, such as EAB. Teams will think carefully about potential future challenges and opportunities, and assemble recommendations based on their findings. Team Recommendations, which may range from minor tweaks, to major revisions, to complete evolution, and in some cases may involve discontinuance, will form the basis for long-term Action Plans.
